Ok, a month ago I took the GP for a wee run down this single track, then came out on to the main road and hit the left front wheel on this curb straight on hard! since doing this I've noticed my steering wheel is not as straight as it used to be! I'll be totally sickened if I've totally knacked my steering column!

any ideas?:(

cool, thats exactly where i'll start cheers matt!:D

Very hard, just noticed the steering wheel isn't straight and pulls very very slightly to the left when steering wheel is in the centre!

If the impact was as hard as i suspect then look at the strut and track control arm. Does the wheel look equal in the arch compared to the other side? Its likely to be slightly further rearward than the other which could be bent strut. Good luck with it (y)

I also did this with my grande, going round a bend while raining and pasenger side wheel hit the kerb, if you put the wheels striaght the sterring wheel isnt lined striaght is it ?
if so this will be your tracking, and sterring rack, i took it to a local qwik fit the next day and have a friend there gave me abit of discount but still cost me £120 .

Er, yeah, but i didn't clip the side of the wheel on the kerb, I hit it straight on hard, so will get it looked as ASAP!
