hello all im jambo24 and i own a 1.4 GP Active Sport.
I have started making a few changes to the car and being as my dad has an Abarth esseesse one of them is his standard Backbox. I just wanted to show anyone who was in doubt of buying one what they look like on as it has been said previously that they sit lower and need modifiying.I however found no problems with the fitting the only changes needed to fit was a section to take the pipe size down to what it is on the standard backbox.

I think most will agree it isnt low and that if it was any higher it would be melting the rear bumper.

Sounds pretty sweet too crackles and pops on the overun and sounds standard when motorway cruising.
Also i had a question about what people do to modify the standard antenna i dont want anything chavtastic though.

Looks great!! :D:D

Too bad you don't have a tjet..You could take your dad's old turbo too..:p but...what about abarth springs??

Yes i thought about Abarth springs but im going to go for Sportlines instead i think. Also as we have another t-jet in the family the lightweight optional extra (standard) wheels are going on that and im having the multispoke t-jet alloys.

this is because as i found out yesterday the tjet and abarth has an extra mid-silencer. Put a straight threw in and you wil get the sound you are after

Yea i had the middle box removed on mine aswell and it sounds nice. Nice burble and popping!

I know this thread is a bit old but....
I've got my abarth exhaust on its way in the post, what do I need to convert it to standard size and how hard is it to fit?
Also what's the straight through pipe I need?

Looks f****** awesome btw!
