Just wondering how easy it is to remove the calipers from the Grande Punto.

ha, my bad, t-jet, front & rear

Not sure about rears (never taken the drums apart on my 1.2) but the fronts are dead easy, take off the wheel, there's two 13mm bolts on the rear of the caliper that you need to undo then you can just swing the caliper out no problem.
