Found out i want some 17" Wolfrace Venom Black Lip Alloys with 2054017FALKEN tires.

However my car is an 08 plate with standard 15" fiat alloys. It still has a good 2 and a bit years of warrenty remaining.

Does anybody know whether new alloys of a different size etc can invalidate the warranty for servicing etc.

I rang Fiat but they said their services department isnt in till monday. Anybody researched this before?

Any replies are greatly appreciated. Thankyou

I've got a 1.2 with 17"s on and had a fault with the diff/gearbox but that was covered under warranty.

Basically, if you bring the car in with a fault and they clock that you've got non-standard alloys on, they will try their hardest to blame it on the rims, e.g. my cable to the brake pad sensor has frayed/is hanging loose and when I took it in they said it was because of the offset of my alloys. That was gonna be a £400 :eek::eek: job (my arse!), so I just get the pads checked out every 6 months instead.
It's a coin toss for warranty issues, like Skitz said, if there is a fault you can always change the wheels over before goin to the garage.
Go for the rims!!!! :slayer:
