When i first got ym Punto last November i think it was i had problems with the mileage flashing. I toom it back they reset everything and it was fine.
Up until about 3 months ago and now it flashes a lot of time its done it twice in the past 2 weeks. It stops when i turn the engine off and is fine the next time i drive it but I dunno whether this is anything major or whether it can wait till its service? I thought it was nothing but its worrying me now because it keeps doing it!

Well the usual fix is to take it to the dealer and they will do a proxy alignment.
However mine still ain't completely fixed - I had a spate of flashing mileage last month and it was back and forth to the dealer. They couldn't replicate the fault so next time it happens I've to take it to them with the engine running.

I've taken it to them before and it seems to have come back worse

what dealer? take it to chadwell heath, ring up an say you from ff

Had my GP a year and it does this too :bang: My answer: set the trip so you can't see it flashing at you and pretend that it'll all be ok

Mine's just started doing this in the last week - seems to be something like alternate trips.

Phoned the dealer foolishly hoping they'd be able to reassure me that it's nothing major but all they want to do is book it in which is too much hassle over the next couple of weeks.

Anyone know if this is urgent or can I hang on 'til next month?

From my experience it is something that will never be fixed. You take it to the dealer, they do something, you take the car away and its fine then out of the blue it starts again. Back to dealer, repeat cycle and eventually they say "there is nothing more we can do sir we dont know what is causing it. I am not knocking anyone just sharing my experience with this as i am now into my 3rd year with less & less chance of it getting sorted.

Mines doing the same it only does it every so often i phone the dealer they could have a look at it but it would be £45 i think i can live with the flashing mileage for the ske of that £45
