T whats the score with the front brakes just read the Known faults section after you updated it and noticed on the brakes paragraph you mentioned

"involves fitment of modified brake pads & dampner kit."

i had mine off not so long back to see that a dealer had ground a chamfer on the leading edge/ trailing edge and outer edge of the pads and blathered them in cheap copperslip in an attempt to cure the brake squeel....

i noticed you mentioned a Dampner kit what is this? is it shims to sit behind the pads? and if so whats the part number?

Many thanks

(feel free to merge it if its out of place on its own)

Originally modified pads (front) were fitted to cure the brake squeal.....but after a while it was found this didn't cure it for everyone so modified modified pads where then fitted with the inclusion of a metal dampner(shim) that fits into the caliper piston.

On rear discs a dampner is fitted to the caliper itself to prevent noise.
