looks stunning, i really do like the red and black theme going on. Liked the looks of it at the remap, but the centre caps look great in red.

Only thing i would say is possibly a light tint on the front windows maybe.

subtle but great looking car though rich.

i would say lower it but it looks much lower because of the side strips. you thought about a nice sound set-up? de-badging?

Thanks a lot mate. I was thinking about getting the front windows done. When i had the rest done i only had the choice of the rear quarters and the rear window as it was being done in bulk by the dealer, shame really. Im gonna look into it again when i get back of hols me thinks.

Another thought i have had but as you say it looks fairly low as it is and if i was going to do it i would want to do it properly which could be costly and i can see my dealer getting all stroppy :D .

Im really into my music so again this is something i would want to do properly but its really important that i keep the bluetooth, i use it everyday and i could not be without it.

I was so close to de-badging it when i had the hairdryer out to put my wheel centres on but i was just worried that i was taking away one of the last things that shows its a Sporting, silly i suppose but it mattered to me :) .

looks good, but seeing as you have the wheels in black now, i would recommend some tyre blacking! :D

I no what your saying but i absolutely hate the stuff, it does my head in. The amount of extra work it creates when cleaning from past experience really isnt worth it in my opinion. I may have a go one day and see what happens.

:D . Its just getting into a pattern mate. Its quite sad really but i enjoy cleaning my car now because i like to see the results.

I paid someone to do it about a month ago on a friends recommendation and i didnt like it at all, was nothing like how i clean it (although it only took 15 mins in comparison to my 2 hours, lol). To be fair to my friend it was a different guy doing it so ill let him off.

the kosovans up the road from me clean em for a fiver. they do such a great job on my dads car. he gives them more than they ask because their so good. ill think ill give it a go with them once. ill bung em a tenner, if it only means them doing a better job.

The guy that i was meant to see was Polish. If they do a good job then thats great, every now and then im not in the mood to do it but i no it needs doing so thats when i like to pay people.

yep :D

I have to say thay being 'an old fart' gp 120 owner, whose only 'mods' are de-badging and abarth replacements, I normaaly do not like these kind of changes to cars, but yours looks cracking. Well done.

Thats nice to hear, thanks. Ive had a few comments like that from people who dont normally like it. Im really happy because that means i have achieved what i wanted and thats to make it look different without ruining it :) .

looks good mate. you considered lowering it? think it would make it look stunning. although im not sure on effecting its ride quality.

Cheers. Yeah i have thought about it but i still havent managed to convince myself yet. I want to do it properly so i know its going to be expensive. Also i know what my dealer is like, i can see them using it as an excuse. You never know though, when ive got the cash saved i might just go for it. :D

were you thinking of new shocks and everything then? because that can make it pricey. previous car i lowered was fine just on new springs. suppose it depends how much you lower it by.

Well i suppose in thinking about it i could just buy good quality springs. Ive just been looking for coilover kits and noone seems to do them yet for the GP, might be wrong but couldnt see any.

Only looking for about 20mm because its already lowered by that over the non-sporting GPs.

Anyone who has already lowered theirs please comment on what you used, etc.

Many Thanks

Rich

Hi mate I used EIBACH lowering springs on my sporting lowered about 25-30mm. not much differance in ride quality to standard springs ,even on bigger wheels (y)
I am an old git so didnt want a harsher ride than standard  but if your not to bothered i think the novitec ones will look better as there about 40mm lower i think  .hope this helps

Thanks a lot for that info. How much did you pay for the Eibach springs if you dont mind me asking. As much as the ride doesnt bother me too much i dont want it to be unbearable because lets face it, our roads are some of the worst in the world.
