I have been thinking long and hard about what to do, i really want to get a nice exhaust fitted to my GP but i dont want to go too far as i feel at the minute my car appeals to a wide range of people whether they like modded cars or not.

What does everyone think? Should i do it or not?

I have attatched some pics of what im looking at. I have used a photo of johnlummis' car (hope you dont mind John) and quickly photoshopped the tips that i want into it as he already has the rear valance i am after. He has the round tips and i am looking at the oval ones just in case it isnt clear.

The other pic is the Novitec demo car and its just the front spoiler/splitter or whatever everyone wants to call it that im looking at.

Opinions much appreciated.

Thanks.

Rich

I must admit i do quite like the NFS front spoiler but i just wanted something a little different.

I know what you are both saying about the quad exhaust, i think the car suits symmetry though. Im going to have a quick photoshop and see if i can chop one side off.

Rich

I don't like the debadged front of the Novitec Punto, but the front spoiler would look great on yours. The NFS one is far too subtle, you might as well not bother. Also having the Novitec front and rear spoilers/splitters is a nice touch. Having them matching like! Quad pipes is probably a tad overkill, a nice wide Cupra style oval would look yummy!

No im not a fan of the debagded front either. I think the front splitter is still fairly subtle but you can tell its different.

Im going to take a look at the different options. The problem is the Novitec site only shows the dual exit exhausts actually on the cars so its hard to see what the others would look like.

Rich

yeah i think that i prefer the novitec front valance and i think that johnlumnis exhaust really suits the car.

Just managed to do another quick photoshop whilst in work. What do people think to this?

Now it looks a bit lobsided! I think I prefer the quad pipes afterall! Unless you have 2 single pipes, one either side? Could look a bit puny though :S

Yeah i no what you mean, im a bit unsure too. I had thought about a single each side. I think it would have to be oval otherwise it would look lost.

Hi Richc have you had a lok at Tony`s site http://www.absmotorsport.net/index.php the MERKUR front and rear bumper spoilers look quite good ,or the LESTER front ?
What about two single oval outlets for the exhaust instead of twins ??

I had actually forgot about his site. Ive just been on and there are a few bits i quite like. Can anyone confirm this, or tell me im lying, im sure i remember seeing that FF members got discount from ABS Motorsport.

Yeah as i mentioned above i was thinking about a single oval each side.

hi rich if i were u m8 i think i'd get the novitec front and this exhaust, i think the rectangle shape works well with the shape of the rear

Like the idea, think i would prefer more of an oval though if you know what i mean, that looks a little too boxy for me. Thats the general lines i think i want to go down though.

Thanks very much to everyone for the input and ideas. If you have anymore then reel them off.

Rich

Ive had a look and these seem to be my options.

Firstly the front spoilers.

1. Novitec
2. Formula 2
3. Merkur
4. Lester
5. NFS

Cast your votes, help me out.

Secondly, the rear valance.

Luckily only 2 choices.

1. Novitec
2. Merkur

Finally, the exhaust

All Novitec to start with.

1. Dual Exit Twin Oval
2. Dual Exit Single Large Oval
3. Dual Exit Single Small Oval
4. Centre Exit Twin Small Oval (Bit of an after thought)

i vote 1,2,2
i think that should be the novitec front, the mer rear, and the square ones.

interrestingly though it appears the arbarth has a twin exhaust only on one side i wonder if that will make it to the final car
