for the record, the Mondeo hasn't put out any soot since i've had it, close to 200 miles now....

i've had 2 people try to flag me down since i got it
, i have plans for it though to make it a bit less taxi-ish just need to get it running properly first, im bored of having zero acceleration :laugh:
could do actually, im confused what sensors are throwing up faults, everything i disconnect makes it run no worse

oh, found my probvlems with it tonight btw, secondary fuel pump is dead and theres 2 splits on the boost hoses
so i'll be boosting again very soon
as for the derv takeover....yup, they are taking over the world it seems, they just make too much sense thse days. even with my one running poorly and my foot to the floor everywhere, i've done 120 miles on just over a 5th of a tank of diesel, that's been mostly round town driving with a 45mpg average, fairly impressed by that, might improve when the things actually running decently :laugh:
