dont see it having to much trouble with the MOT after all the bits have been done to it now
you using the same place which done the cinq for you mark as may take the sei down after we turn that mount around and see what happens with it then making the decision what to do with the sei

yeah, was just thinking of going to them again for the mot tbh, i know they don't fail cars on stupid trivial things to get more work on their books and usualy if there is a potential issue developing, (corrosion etc) they often do what they can to fix it or slow it down for nothing

got the exhaust today and the guy threw in a spring for nothing not sure it'll be much use but at least im covered if a shock needs changed

more or less all the vital parts here now tbh

i've got the whole weekend free also think Kris still wants the audi plugged in for a sensor check

not wanting to do the exhaust on the sol yet though, rather than faffing about with getting bolts out the cat etc, i'm just going to decat as planned, onto new manifold aswell is the complete plan so it saves alot of bother there, just got to worry about the manifold studs snapping instead :laugh:

the exhaust is a one piece welded thing... had to use the back window down, bootlid as pickup, spoiler as tie down point method got some interesting looks on the a90 :laugh:

the tailpipe i thought was horrible when i first saw it, but actually seeing it roughly up on the car it doesn't look as bad as feared. as long as it gets the mot done it'll do for now

good news about the plans, could be interesting if it does happen

at the garage today, just as we were about to leave, spotted a decent photo op, so

oh yeah, and my speedo and rev counter now glow red at night after a dash bulb change

looks nice and evil, much better than standard i'll get a pic when it's dark

nope, but it's only 180 that's dark on the speedo though , it's lit all the way from zero up to 160 i shouldn't really be near 180mph though any time soon....especially in the dark

got fed up of the blowing exhaust racket so sealed it up for now rather ingeniously much better i'll get the new exhaust fitted in the next few weeks probably

also fixed the rear foglight, found the wire itself was full of oxidisation, few wiggles and a clean up with a screwdriver later, all is well.

the big news though is.......i have my first proper upgrade part on the way

haha have now used a quarter tank LIFTING all the way home from work

new update, look at my sig, as you can see by the economy dip, i like vtec last tank i got an average of 22mpg :laugh:

back brakes have now been done, still need to adjust the handbrake though, have about 15 clicks atm

mot is getting booked this week, still need to do wishbone bush and front springs, but thats about it that i know of

oh yeah, and i got a stainless manifold

The sol are known to have weak handbrake ~~~~

but adjustment is easy enough

well, just over a week to mot, more or less all parts needed to get through are either here or en route

one minor set back.......as many will know........ that mod i had planned? it's been taken off me, literally. My garage was broken into and the manifold was stolen wasn't just my garage done, 5 others in the compound were broken into and several more attempted (including daz's), thankfully, his door stood up better to the attack than mine did so they didnt get in there

some plans now on hold, aome decisions to be made now, but technically, not a huge setback, just ****ing annoying and unneeded

Sucks majorly Mark, need to set up one of those flame thrower intruder alarm devices me thinks. May be some legal issues attached, but just what thieving bastids like that deserve :rifle:
