fairly easy on an 8v fire TBH :)

btw, the crx has given me damn good mpg so far :D as seen by the fuelly sig

expect this to dip hugely when 1) i drive less m/way and duel carriageway and 2) i vtec it more and more

Crikey, you just coasting it down the hills then?

5th gear, 60ish mph avg at 2.5-3k rpm miles away from vtec is where it's been living mostly, the more town driving and fast road vtec'ing it does the more it's going to go down, think it'll be at about 35mpg after another few fill ups tbh, this is as good as i'll ever get so i might as well enjoy the figures while i can

I guess that's the benefit of vtec though - you can be economical if you want and, well, screaming along if you don't

you going to get the door painted or leave it? may not be bad in real life but doesnt look good next to the front wing on that pic.

either way dohc stickers ftw! and looks good so far so keep it coming.

the door is a 100% perfect match, just think the lightings not good combined with the iphones crap camera pickup tbh, it doesnt look good in that.

the pic from behind shows theres a pillar close by, i think it put a shadow across the front wing pic slightly, in daylight it's spot on as will be seen when i get the car cleaned and pics taken in daylight with a proper camera :D

i have some new parts to get fitted now that arrived this afternoon :) nothing exciting or hugely visible atm, just brake stuff, interior bulbs and stereo fitment bits and bobs

a couple of better quality pics

door is a perfect match ;)

think it's fair to say i've found where my extra noise vrooom is coming from.......

time to order a stainless exhaust? i think so!

the work continues, front brake caliper sorted and discs renewed :)

thats the good news, the FFS news.....

in doing so i found out i need 1 new spring on the drivers side as its split right at the very top coil and new bushes on the passenger side, even though theres no knocking or vibration, theres about 5mm of play from the inner lower wishbone bush :(

i'll got a set of front suspension ! for the SIR.

£50 collect :D ? As for bushes, you can buy just that bush cheap under 10 quid. But should probably go poly. Is only £115 for a full set of poly bush for the car.

But am surprise

it's cool :) i know a guy with the parts locally, same guy i got the door from, local honda breaker :)

the bush, ideally i'd like to poly it, but financially im already a bit stretched for now with having to go and source an exhaust soon aswell, for now standard will have to do, but it's on the to do list :)

im trying to work out if my sol lowered at the front, it does look lower than it should at the front and compared to photos of lowered cars, the front looks like it's been dropped, stance wise aswell it looks lowered, especially as its not got standard camber, it definitely seems possible it is. the springs themselves though look standard (lots of coils, black coating when usualy lowering springs are red, yellow, blue etc) and the ride is that good it doesnt feel lowered.

just trying to work out wether i want the standard setup or coilovers :D tbh i just want the suspension as it is now ride wise and height wise because i like the soft ride and it's already hard enough to get in and out :D
