This is gonna sound really daft on a Car website but i need some opinions on contract phones!!!

I mite be getting one but i dunno if i can trust myself not to phone porn lines and stuff!!! Just kidding, but seriously anybody had like really nasty phone bills by mistake!!???

I could afford the line rental but not alot on top of that!!

Yeah my mates had problems before. But that's been the only instance.

Always personally go for a contract purley because I use it a lot and it works out cheaper etc.

If your buying a contract try http://www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk it's the cheapest place on the net. There service is amazing, delivery is typically next day provided all the details go through quickly enough. Plus you get a free (not so great but does the job) In Car Handsfree Kit. ( I used the word car so that justifies it being on a car forum )

Bought 5 phones in my family from them, an not a single problem.

Never had a contract phone, and judging by how much top up I put in my phone, I wouldn't want to!

I work in mobile phone sales.
The story that contracts are a rip off is bullsh!t.
Very very rarely will a contract cost more than PAYG.
Different deals suit different people - Orange have some very good deals on just now for new contract customers.
For the regular user you can have a free phone, 200 mins to any network at any time and 500 text messages a month for £30.
For someone who only txts you can have 3000 texts a month for about £20 and a free phone. Be aware that if you make a call on this deal it's quite expensive.
For the low user you can have 120mins to anyone at any time and 30txts for about £15 i think - and a free phone.
Let me know what you are looking for and I'll give you my best - unbiased opinion.

I wreckon it's the best for me, i am quite often out of cash and that means i can't use my phone, with a contract i would keep using it! this could be expensive, just worried that mite happen!!
