My 1.4 fiat fiorino is hunting really bad, occasionally cuts out right after I start it, and other times as I go to pull away I can put my foot to the floor and the van doesn't move and all of a sudden it goes. Could this be the map sensor or has anyone got any ideas

Pin 3 of map sensor 1.5 v at idle
3-4.5v snap acceleration
Pin 2 earth from Ecu -0.5 ohm max
Pin 1 12-5v feed

Most likely the throttle bypass valve is full of gue, if you remove the inlet oipe and look at the butterfly you will see a bypass hole which goes to a valve that controls the idle. It's normal on modern petrol cars for this valve to get full of oil and zorst recyle gunge and get jammed. Helps to clean with wd40 first, then carb cleaner second.

I agree with Choppy, had the same problem on a petrol Renault Scenic.

Get some carb cleaner and remove the throttle body and clean. Also the idle control valve if fitted.
Check all pipes for splits/air leaks.
