hi all.
im currently running on 195/50 15s , but want 'lower profile'.

i have seen a few 195/45s but is that as low as they go ?

i was also thinking of giving them a very slight 'stretched look'. so can i get 185/45s ?

what tyre sizes would you recomend ?

cheers

The HLX has 185/55/15 as standard. You will want an alloy that is 8J wide as the standard 15's are 7J. This would mean you would need tyres of width 175/165 before they look stretched. Which in my opinion looks pap.

Lower profile does not equal stretched look. Its the width of the tyre.

What alloys do you have now that you wish to do this too and what are the alloys dimensions?

Dude, stretched is a dub thing. You've got much classier italian metal. lol. As above, it'd look pap, but thats just my opinion

sorry i think i have not been clear , when i say 'slightly stretched'. i dont mean 'euro look', its just the tyres i have now , balloon slightly, but i would like the tyre sidewall to fit flat against the side of the alloy.

so if i get a slightly wider tyre, i can get a smaller height ? am i right ?
