Set off to drop the missus off at work, wipers on turbo as the weather is crap and look what she notices. Dunno how well you can see it in the pics but there is a big crack/scratch coming from the bottom of the windscreen. I can't feel it from the inside or out but it's visible both ways and seems to have gotten bigger during the drive home!

Does anyone know if this is repairable or do I need a new windscreen, need to know what the protocol is before I speak to the insurance.

The 3rd pic down shows it best but id someone would kindly resize them for me it can be seen better.

Yes that looks like what happened to me a few months back same place as well!
New screen im afraid it cost me £135 not bad for tinted lucky for me they had 1 left in stock that day ,fitted in 30 mins.

If you've got windscreen cover with your insurance, I't shouldn't cost more than the excess of roughly £50-£60!!!

And it won't affect your NCB either!

Thats what I was hoping to hear! I'll get onto them now, I'm fully comp so should have it?! He says trying to convince himself!

dom if your fully comp and your windows are not covered i would be changing my policy!!! should cost you about 50-75 quid max

All sorted, autoglass coming tommorrow between 12 and 6 but i'm off work at the moment and will be playing halo3 all day so don't mind the waiting
