Hello all,

Same problem as can be found scrolling through the numerous search results.

Idle drops for half a second, almost stalls and then rises again.
Cycle about 3-5 seconds. Mostly cold but sometimes warm also.

I checked with my OBD-reader. Most values seem reasonable but Fuel pressure oscillates. How much of that is normal?
More interesting was Load it fluctuates from maybe 5% to almost 20%
Accelerator pedal value stays at 0%
Does anyone know how Fiat ECU calculates the load, what sensors are involved?

I believe the 2198 cc Ducato engine is very similar to the ones used in Ford Transits of the same age.

You might therefore find it useful to search Ford forums also.

A quick look points to the PRV (Pressure Release Valve) and SCV (Solenoid Control Valve) as worth investigating if there are idling problems.
