Hi,new to this so feel free to point me in the right direction.
My 2015 Ducato Van has recently been converted to a motorhome and the original bench was disposed of and a single seat installed. Now the airbag warning light stays on.
Is there anyway to fix this ? My local Fiat dealer is no help.

Hi. :)

They wont advise due to liability..

Ok. The vans body computer is looking for the missing feedback from the unplugged devices.

You can get 'emulators' that mimic the device without the bulk..and risk.. of airbags in a cupboard ;)

Stilo section tends to carry a lot of this info.

Multiecuscan software that communicates with body computer.. will save you time and money.

SEARCH on here is great.

Auto electrician checked on my fault. It was shown up as being the airbag module. The module was £140, there was another £100 for an internet input to reset the system, plus a charge for the initial test.

It will be the passenger seat belt pretensioners. Hopefully you still have one connected to the clasp on the new single seat. The disconnected one will need an appropriate resistor across the loom connector plug to simulate the presence of the other pretensioner. You won't get any help from Fiat because they state that twin seats must not be converted to a single seat and vice versa.
