Right my position on the matter is download Alfaobd . All the information rs3100 has supplied seems well founded and I guess there’s only one way to find out and actually pull the trigger and if that fails start hacking the wiring loom. I’ll let you know how it goes this weekend. Thanks for all the input .

Have you tried reprogramming the BCM with AlfaOBD? The author of that software claims that it can alter the BCM logic for LED DRLs, and the function is listed for X290 Ducatos. I have seen several reports on US forums that the same function in AlfaOBD works for the lights on earlier Ram Promaster models (Ducatos, but with different headlamp units to the earlier UK X250 models) and Jeeps. Several people have been pointed in the direction of AlfaOBD when asking the same question, but no-one ever comes back to confirm whether it was successful or otherwise. The alternative is to order a new BCM from Fiat, with the DRL logic changed to drive the LED function. The cost is around £1K I believe, and current issues with microchip supplies may also be an issue.
Experimenting with inline resistors for the DRL circuits may also work, but would involve modifications to the existing wiring, with the possibility of future reliability issues as a result.

just pulling up on this threat, has it been done as I have a set of LED daylight style headlights and would like to fit them to my non LED daytime running light 2022 ducato camper, any help would be amazing cheers, also going to throw in a different thing it there a bunch of wires under the van where we can tap into the reverse signal to fit a set of factory parking sensors as I dont really want to pull the inside panels off for the rear lights as its a new camper but will have to at some stage

Hi everyone I have the software and hardware to retro fit the led headlights to a non led headlight ducato boxer or relay this is done by reprogramming the body control module

Yes I have done it also if your parking sensors are qenuine they should plug into the loom and I could possibly also program them too

Hi did you manage so sort the drl headlights flickering as I have the same problem just fitted a set of drl headlights to my 2022 .8 serious fiat ducato and they are fine until I start the engine then the flickering starts
