Hi, I have a 1999 ducato camper I have recently bought. it has been converted but because the previous owners lived in a less cold climate there is no heating at all. I really want a wood burner but need some advice from someone who has done this. I need to know how the chimnea should be positioned, the size the stove should be for the size of van etc, any help will be greatly appreciated. many thanks.

I wouldn't bother myself.

Much better to spend the money on diesel or LPG heating with warm air blowers.

Mind you, I'm unbelievably paranoid about CO and CO2 build up when sleeping in a campervan. I'd rather be a little cold than dead.

Wood burner? Really in a motorhome that sounds like a walking disaster for either fire risk or posioning
