Evening all
Just recently I have changed my oil and filter and now the red oil can is flashing on the dashboard along with a message.
I have tried looking on here to find out how to switch it off but unfortunately I cannot seem to find a solution that fits my van. Also I have tried google and that suggests that you press the odometer to show the total mileage (its shown constantly on my van) then scroll through to show CFG1 which again I cannot do.
Then I called in an auto electrician who plugged in his Snap On diagnostics machine and again couldnt switch off the service light. Confusingly the machine didnt display a 110 multijet, only the 120 and 130 multijet plus all the other models.
Apart from going to a Fiat dealer does anyone have any ideas please?

Can you confirm it is a euro5 with DPF and the warning message is 'Exhausted Oil'?
If so the 'oil counter' needs to be reset by the Fiat Examiner system. I am not saying there is no after market service interval / oil counter reset tool but I never found one.
You can check the service and oil remaining mileage on the display by switching ignition on and pressing the mode button on the panel to the right of the steering wheel. Step round to Menu, press mode again and step round to Service. The service mileage will be shown. Press down button and oil will be shown.

I believe it is euro5 but the warning message is "change engine oil". I have scrolled through the menu on the dashboard and have found the oil service mileage and it states its at zero miles.

The change oil warning counts down from its 100% mileage, on mine 28000mls. It is not time or mileage dependent but appears to depend upon the number of DPF regenerations. Your's has counted down to zero so must be reset on the Fiat examiner system. I have heard that if you ignore it then eventually it will go into limp mode but do not know if this is true.
