Changed turbo variable geomatory valve, brand new turbo , map sensor. Still got fault code turbo position sensor!!!!! Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
Saw this on another forum regarding the same fault code "There was a poorly routed vacuum line that was kinked. They rerouted it and cleared the fault, took it for a test drive and now all it well. "
Thanks, but i have checked all the air in and air out pipes. I am now thinking snapped wire from the turbo position sensor to the ecu , but cant get a hold of a wiring diagram for a 2013 3ltr ducato
Interesting thread, I have the same fault on my 2012 3.0 180,
Clear code, runs sweet, then limp mode comes in, clear code, runs sweet,
Be interested to know any findings, will investigate the kinked hose
Monday i am going to tackle the wiring side of the problem if i get time. I wont let it beat me !!! Its got to be somthing i am overlooking somthing simple. As soon as i get to the bottom of it and fix it i will let you guys know. Many thanks for your help on this problem . Kind regards jamie.
When I done the training course at fiat's training school I asked about this fault and they told me 9 times out of ten it's turbo faliure as the sensor is built in to the turbo, I have since fitted a few turbos and this seems to cure the issue
just to let u guys know it was a snapped wire from the turbo position sensor to the engine side of the ECU. The sensor plug has 3 wires it was number 3 wire green/yellow to the ecu.
