Am installing a radio in a 2000 Ducato that has never had one. Spwakers are installed in the doors and having taken down the bottom part of dashboard have found two connectors by the side of where the radio should go, 1 white, 1 Black with the right number and colour wires to be the power supply and speaker connections.
Unfortunately they are the wrong size to connect to the connections from the Sony Radio and searching on the Internet can only find linking connectors for post 2006 Ducatos.
Any thoughts or info will be appreciated as at the moment I am considering cutting the wires of the connector plugs and placing them in connector strips. Also any indication as to where the speaker connections come out of the wiring loom in the door will be appreciated as my current Plan B is to drill through from the cab into the suspension support are in order to bring a speaker wire through there from threading it through alongside the door wiring loom between the door and the bodywork.
