Hi
I have just downloaded this manual Ducato 2002-2006 eLEARN Workshop Manual (111.13 MB)
Extracted the file but it keeps asking me to insert a cd disc,am i doing somehting wrong ?:bang:

Hi
The large file contained in the RAR when extracted is an ISO (an image of a CD) & so needs to be burnt to a CD, which when completed & the CD is inserted in the drive, should automaticaly start the installation process on your computer system.
When the installation is complete there should be an "eLearn icon" on the desktop, also when using the eLearn program the CD must be in the drive so it can access the data.
Usually after the initial install, when the eLearn CD is again inserted in the drive, the eLearn program starts automatically if not use the icon on the desktop.
Some people say they can mount the image the image using Daemon Tools or similar etc & use it that way so if that works - great but burning it to CD & having a "hardcopy" to reinstall again if necessary isn't a bad idea as hard drives have been known to crash.
Cheers

As my computer has autorun switched off, I had to find the setup icon on the CD and double click it to install.

Unless you are mounting the ISO as a virtual drive using Daemon Tools or similar see below: -
When the CD is inserted in the drive the first time it should start the installation program (it must be initially installed on your system) copying its operating files to its install directory on the hard drive to be able to work correctly & ONCE installed there should be an eLearn icon on the desktop from which it can be started -
To use the eLearn program the CD must be in the drive to allow it to access the database contained on the CD itself. But after the initial install once you put the CD in the drive so as to use the program it will start the elearn program automatically without having to click on the desktop icon.
The icon on the desktop will point to C:\elearn\elearn.exe if the installation was done on the C: drive.
Note: This install will then work also for any other eLearn versions your have as well, just put whatever verson you have in the CD Drive & go from there.
If viewing the ISO using ISOMagic or simliar the contents of the "CD" should look like below - the CD image should be as below with 5 folders (red) as below & 5 files in the root directory of the CD.

Database
image
pdf
svg
system

autorun.inf
elearn.ico
ex_setup.exe
setup.exe
start.exe

The "start.exe" is the file the autorun.inf points to for the initial installation.
Hope that helps (y)

Hello from a Newbie :)

I am trying to find a manual for my very old Motorhome which I have just purchased as a "Spares or Repair" off eBay.co.uk
Yep I know, I should have had more sense.
This one is a "Bit of a Wreck" and needs a lot doing to it. So I am desperately in search of some sort of Repair Manual.
I am led to believe the chassis is a Fiat Ducato, somewhere around the 1987 vintage.
It is a left hand drive, so not registered here, which is adding to my problems trying to track anything down about it. I have sent mails to Germany about it, and they cant find it on their data-base.
I think I have found the VIN plate, which is situated on the bulk head above the battery box, but getting to look at it is impossible, so I have taken a pic of it, and trying to read it from that.
(please see attached if you can read VIN No.s)
I thought about emailing FIAT in Italy, but of course they WILL want the VIN which I cant read!

Any help would be really greatly appreciated, especially in trying to tie down the VIN.

(See pic)
FIAT-VINPLATE.jpg

The combination of VIN as far as I can see are as follows:-
ZFA280C00 00377785
ZFA280000 00377485
ZFA280C00 00377285
ZFA280000 00377285

Thanks
Geoff

Hi Welcome to the Fiat Forum
The best place to look for info on the early model Ducatos is on the Tabot Express owners Club site - http://www.talbotoc.com/search.php
These all came from the same factory & were badged as Talbot Express, Citroen C25, Peugeot J5 & Fiat Ducatos.
Tried your VIN No. on the ePer parts catalogue for more info but it appears to be too old!
Check here for Early Ducato, etc Engine Manuals - http://www.filefactory.com/file/cf66276/n/EarlyDuc.zipx
Talbot Express Owners Manual which might be of some use - http://www.filefactory.com/file/c05352f/n/TalbotExpressOwnersHandbook.pdf
Link to previous post on the gear linkage problems on the old Ducatos etc - http://www.jktowers.fsnet.co.uk/motorhome/TalbotExpressGearbox.htm
& the pasted version on a Previous post on the FF - https://www.fiatforum.com/ducato/195861-old-ducato-camper-1-3t-petrol-gearchange-problem.html

Returning to the OPs original post "I have just downloaded this manual Ducato 2002-2006 eLEARN Workshop Manual (111.13 MB)

I had the same problem with the digital manual. The solution for me was to run the eLEARN software using a user account with administrator rights.

Hiya

If it is any help .......................

I just download this eLearn, and when you open the HUGE File, it is an ISO image which you have to burn to a CD Disk
NERO is good for this, or, you can find a freebie ISO burer on the Internet.

When you have burnt the ISO to Disk, insert it into the DC-ROM drive, and open the .exe file to instal the eLearm to your PC

Close down the PC
Re-start PC, keep the Disk in the drive, and click on the eLearn icon that should now be on the desktop

That should work

Hello Guys and greetings from Romania !

This is my first post here .

Could some one please help me with the E-learn manual for the 244 Ducato ?

Regards,
Gabriel

Re: workshop manual fiat ducato 2.8 idTD 1999
Hi,

thanks a lot for your help. I did install a windows 7 now. Absolute nightmare to work with. Everything is so much more complex and complicated then my MAc. I managed to download the files. I managed to download 7 Zip but it can*t read the zip files. So I uninstalled it and downloaded another unarchiver. That one started to unarchivate and then stated the files dowloaded are password protected. So how do I get a password? Next would be, since I didnt study IT, How do I create a Directory and how do I burn with winzip?
What a Horrortrip. It's been four month now since I started working on getting a workshop manual.
Looks like you need a full IT University to get it done...

Any clues somebody?

Would be much appreciated.
I know every single windows installation works different though...

Once you have the ISO disk image, you're almost done.
Download a free program called isodisk and install it (any Windows version). Open isodisk, click on drive "D" and point to the ISO file, then close the program.
If the eLearn icon on your desktop doesn't work, go to My computer and click on drive D, that will start the program.
