Hi all...i have tried searching though the forum for a couple of days before posting but i cannot find any threads to help me.
i have even tried d/loading the manual for mine from this site and burnt it to disc using power iso even that wont work for me..(pulling my hair out now)
ok i picked up my 97 ducato ex council with a wheel chair ramp fitted on saturday.
at first the compressors would only run for a few minutes per journey now they are running most of the time..
so obviously an air leak some where. i did find 3 leaks,one on each compressor which i have sorted but they are still running most of the time.the other leak was on the drain vavle on the air tank..sorted that
has anyone got a copy of the air system layout please or point me in the direction of one.
at the moment im only guessing the layout as i cant get under to have a good look.
so far i have found 2 air intakes with foam filters (cleaned them) and a valve and box under the drivers seat.. underneath i have found the 2 x 12volt compressors and a preasure regulater (just rear of exhaust tail pipe)
any help would be great..

Would need more infomation what model it is, does it have an AL-KO chassis with the optional Wabco Air suspension if so which version. There were three different versions available with the AL-KO chassis, Or does it have an aftermarket airbag assist addon system.
If it is not an AL-KO system then you will have to find out what brand it is & find the manufacturers maintenance documentation. From your discription it sounds like an aftermarket version. Attached is an AL-KO PDF covering their three different models. The other has Wabco airbags for commercial vehicles & at the end has a general maintenance & fault section for the bags themselves but does not cover the compressor etc.

thanks for your quick reply..i will check the details in the morning and try to find out which one it is..at mo all i know is that...from new it was registered to the body builders for one month as first keeper...then registered to leicestershire council as second...now mine

speak to the transport manager of the authority it came from the chances are it will have the docs filed away or they can tell you who fitted it.
