Hello, my first post here having just found the FIAT Forum. I'm already a member of briskoda.net being a similar forum for 'briskly driven Skodas'.
I have a problem with my '53reg Doblo 1.9JTD, with only 20,500 miles. The clutch has started slipping, only slightly so far, on full throttle at around 2,500 - 3,000 rpm in 2nd/3rd/4th gears. Nothing too dramatic so far BUT I'm concerned that it is happening with a low mileage.
My local FIAT dealer, who I get on very well with, has really just said sorry but that's life and its a gearbox out 6.5 hour job!
I've looked around to see if I can get an uprated clutch to minimise the chance of a repeat problem in another 20,000 miles (if I fit an OE clutch) but can't find one; however, a couple of posts here (talking about ECU remaps for Doblos) say the OE clutch is good and strong.
Can anyone offer any help/advice? Thanks in advance.
