Newbie with a problem.

Hi to all from Galway,
Just bought a 08 cargo 135klms. nice van, drives really well, better for me than my previous caddy.
However, need some advice.
It starts straight away from cold. But if I stop after half an hours driving the solenoid clicks only. If left for an hour, it starts straight away.
So the question is, is it an electrical fault or do I need to remove and clean up the starter, (of which I hope not, as I've got hands like Arnie).
If I do have to remove it, do I need anything other than the usual sockets and spanners?

Re: Newbie with a problem.

Most likely its the solenoid (starter relay) itself is acting up on you , its not a hard job to take it out and swap it even with big hands , never had any problems of fitting my hands in doblo ( i wear 11 size glowes ) and yes it will be enough just sockets and spanners ,
Which motor do you have ?
