Feel free to add to the list, remember though this is essential things and dont forget to say why.

12v power socket in the rear, for as practical a vehicle as the doblo, one 12v socket on the dash just isn't enough.

Radio/CD player - there you are cruising along then see a ice-cream shop so you stop for a cone. Jump back in the doblo and realise you cant hear the CD, why?...because of blaukpuntdeciding to put a preset volume so low a dog would struggle to hear it so you spend the first mile of your journey holding the volume button until it gets to a decent level.
Another advantage is sound quality, we are quick to condem the small dash speakers but stick a kenwood CD/MP3 player in the doblo (my secondhand unit cost a tenner!) and the difference is night and day(y)

Reversing camera / Parking sensor - Especially essential if you have a towbar as well. Whatever, it enables you to park in a space you might otherwise have balked at.

Roof rails- The dobby seems to look 'naked' without them. Having them on gives whole new dimensions - especially when transporting 8x4 sheets.

Sunblinds or tinted windows - The doblo has more glass area than kew gardens and can get very hot inside for those who dont have air-conditioning (even if you do the sun can still be strong through that mass of glass) especially the kids in the back seat or dog in the luggage area. I opted for the blinds.

Wind deflectors - driving along in the doblo at anything over 40mph will produce a fair amount of noise in the doblo, stick a set of wind deflectors on and say goodbye to most of the noise and say hello to open windows at speed and less wind resistance to the brick shape hence better fuel:D

fair enough....about the camera, what about parking sensors? not that i'm crap at parking (I am as it happens) but I have the lift up tailgate and there needs to be a predetermined gap for the room to open the tailgate hence the parking sensors.

Higher capacity battery - always useful and will turnover much faster.

Speakers - Change them all the standard units arent anything special. The 10cm dash speakers are ideally sited for replacing with ones with built in tweeters.

theres 2 versions though, those with speakers in doors and those with just the dash ones...anyone tried to retro-fit door speakers? I like the facelifted doblos with the one piece fuill door panels...i notice the doors are the same, wonder if newer panels will retro fit to older version:chin:

I don't rate the sensors - too many blind spots & they only work down to 30cm. With my camera I can park my towball a cock hair away from an object.
As for room to open the tailgate, my camera is positioned such that the outer limit of the camera is the same as the reach of the tail - so if I can see any part of an object on the screen then the tail will hit it.
With the cam on my bus, I have pencil marked a handy line - it represents the overhang of the roof at the day centre. On days like today when it was bucketing down, I was able to park so the back end was a fraction away from the gutter - I was able to get all my passengers on without any of them getting wet or using a brolly. Also, the turning circle is incredibly crap so the cam is really useful for turning round in tight corners. The cam is precise & you can see what is happening (even great for hooking up a caravan/trailer), with sensors you are almost blind.
I think the other thing with both systems - both require a similar amount of work to install, I have installed both types. The cam is a no-brainer.

I have two sockets, one either side of the gear lever.
But I agree, I feel there should be a socket in the plastic casing between the seats for rear seat passengers to use & it wouldn't hurt to have one in the rear (next to the light?) - I'd even like to see one on the parcel shelf over the windscreen.

I'm seriously thinking about swapping out the lamps in the existing units for the LED replacements.
I did pop a couple of those stick up lights (push on/off) with 3 LEDs but found them to be fairly useless, the light didn't 'reach' far enough to read a book. Maybe this year I'll find something more powerfull?
Be nice to have a multi-LED adjustable spotlight.

(y) thanks for that.

Kids find in hard to locate the seat belt stalks at night so I was thinking of fitting a strip light or LED light of some kind over the rear seats? Saw a set of 4 LED lights in Lidl for tenner recently for use under cabinets in kitchen & wonder if I could use them in someway?

Those were the sort I had (but mine had 3 LEDs).
TBH, I find the whole range very poor, Maybe LED tech has improved over the last year or so?
I have a torch with 8 LEDs which is good for close up stuff.
It may be better to install those long strips of LEDs along either side of the roof lining?
With regards finding the rear belt clips, wouldn't it be great if manufacturers didn't add colouring to the mix, just made the clips clear plastic & install LEDs in them? Light up belt clips! I wonder if this could somehow be powered by the action of a bum landing on the seat? Some little device to slip under the cover?
I seem to remember one of my cars had luminous strips on the clips as they always fell to the floor when removed.

seen illuminated seat belt stalks before...very handy, come on with ignition.

what about scudo taxis and the rear lamps they have...LED G10 size:chin:
