My front windscreen wiper on doblo is going intermittant and sometimes wont sweep at all and then all of a sudden does work after moving the control stalk many times, can anyone help please

I seem to remember something on a tread here about spraying the control wand under the rubber seal with WS40 or something; it apparently restores connectivity.

Please trawl through the old threads and see if you can find some more info. Quite probably somebody here will point you in the right direction.

Contact cleaner is better as WD40 tends to leave a residue (as it is a water dispersant).

I bought a can of contact cleaner from Maplins, not very expensive & use it about twice per year on my light switch stalk.
Heck, even if I emptied the can over both switches, it still works out cheaper than replacements.
Make sure you use the thin etension tube to get the cleaner right into the switch area.
