hi peeps i just brought my self a coupe a week ago and arter driving it yesterday i noticed that i had to top up the water a little bit and that the whole floor in my car is wet ? may it be a heater matrix i hope but im worried that the head gasket may be on its way out is there a way to locate the matrix and see if its leaking i also can see any leeks under the car when engine is running. any help would be great as i love the car and dont want to get rid of it thanks.aaron

if the water is in the passenger footwell then thats where the water from the coolant system is ending up

With some luck its not already damaged the head gasket. To test for head gasket failure you need to compression test the engine. Also see if the coolant tank is smelling of petrol fumes. But first you will need to fix the coolant leak or the problem will come back.
