I know this seems a common problem as I've already searched the forum regarding this. My wipers stopped working in my Cinq last week. I had put some grease and WD40 on the linkage and motor areas and they started to work again.

I left my car in the carpark yesterday in the pouring rain, when I went to put my wipers on, they wouldn't start! The last time they stopped working was after a downpour.. any ideas anyone?

maybe loose connection ,or the motors away,or fuse has blown in between time

fuses are all ok. i'm thinking loose connection too. it just seems odd to me that it's fine until it rains! could it be the part that connects the wiper mechanism to the motor?

does the motor run if so check the linkage if not could be a bad connection or worn wire which water is affecting

Could be an earth problem, run in a second earth to the motor and see what happens.

After taking the motor out, checking the wiring and testing the motor.. I replaced it. Wipers are fine now. The old motor still works but only if you run a current straight into it, bypassing the pcb..
