Hi,

I have a 51 reg Fiat Seicento sporting, 105k miles.

Yesterday it started juddering when stood still and there's some power loss in low gears/at low speed. It's mostly OK once I'm up in 5th gear or above 30mph, but I can still feel it "jumping" every now and again? It's just not quite 'right'.

The orange engine light is on, sometimes flashing, sometimes just solid. Oil and coolant levels are fine.

I'm meant to be making a long journey on Saturday and would just like some ideas about whether it's even worth fixing. Got work's car man looking at it tomorrow but just wanted some ideas about what it could be and the likely costs involved - I am pretty clueless.

I looked through that post but it doesn't seem to be the same thing - mine's got definite power loss and juddering. It's getting plugged onto the diagnostic machine tomorrow, but if it was the coil pack - what kind of price are we looking at?

I'm completely clueless!!
