can anyone tell me how to replace a drivers door hinge pin mine has fallen out and is lost i have looked online for a replacement but no luck there
and i can only see the holes when the door is open and they are apart and they only align when the door is shut and i cannot get to them to replace the pin then ??? am i being a dunce or what ???

I don't know specifically about your car but generally the hinges are held together by a "roll pin" a hardened steel tube with a split down it that is driven into place with a tool and a hammer. They don't usually drop out as they are quite tight, I assume you were not referring to the check strap that stops the door swinging too far open?
If you take a photo of it I or someone else here may be able to give more advice.
If you cannot get a "roll pin" it may be possible to get a suitable size long bolt with a Nylock nut to hold the hinge together as a temporary fix.
