I'm in the middle of organising a group buy for integrale owners for Modifche door pods, here is the reply I got today

"Aaron,

The retail price of the PMG 154 is £160 (including VAT and delivery)

I can offer the following, one off, group buy deals:
5 units: £136 (inc VAT and delivery)
10 units: £120 (inc VAT and delivery)
I hope you agree that these represent very good value for money.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Regards,
Narinder"

Now going on this as a guide only, the Cinq ones PMG 096 are 233 Euros the integrale ones 187Eurso, I would therefore estimate if theres enough interest we could get them down to about £160ish for ten sets which considering how many Cinqs there are out there shouldn't really be that hard to get for the quality of product that hold 165mm front speakers and retain a door bin.

i know people are always a bit funny about buying without seeing and on this I can't confirm the Cinq ones I only know the integrale ones are very very good.

Post on here if anyone is interested and I'll see if they are willing to do a deal on the Cinq as well.

do you know i was just on punto sports thinking what a good idea the group buys are.
good price but unlikely i'll have the readies to join in im afraid :(

There are always group buys going with integrale owners but a lot of that is down to supply of parts which can be hard at times so its easier to commission new items to be made, but just about every car club/group I know have group buys as its saves money plus gets the company a good review from all those involved as they come across as helpful and make good sales from it.

seeing as this is slow on the uptake here is some pics from a dutch integrale owner's pods from same company. http://members.home.nl/base/Delta Doorpods PMG154.jpg Cinq ones here although shown in grey but they are available black as well http://www.pmmodifiche.it/

I think you will agree they are very good quality and made better than the standard door bins as they are nice and felt lined stop those CD cases rattling about.

I need some interest in this to see about prices otherwise I'm getting a set myself along with the integrale group buy.

From the reply I got regarding the integrale group buy the prices include all VAT and postage to the address of all those who buy.

I havn't got a def price on these yet, only a guess going on integrale prices as I wanted to gauge interest first, but as its picking up I'll get one next week.I believe payment wise once its set up all those who want place an order with company and once the numbers are achieved then order organised as they get from Italy so in there interest its all done together as Im sure they will use it as a way of getting in other orders and saving on postage, in the end they make more money but we get better deal so everyones happy.

I know you guessed at the discount aaron but I'd need to know for deffo the price before comtemplating it, low side of £150 then I could maybe do it.

I'll need to check prices, i have mine in my integrale and as 11 people bought those at £130 a pop I was given a one off price of £150 for the Cinq ones for a se tfor me, just never got round to ordering them as been busy just tyring to get it running again.

The quality is superb and has been met with nothing but praise from teh integrale owners who bought them and lets be fair some of them have £20K classics so a demanding bunch.

Let me know nearer the time and I'll see what i can do.

The speakers are sealed, but as with any speaker to get the full use of it you need air to move, so on the 'grale you can cut the door cards and the door panel and use the inside of the door, as tere isn't a great deal of volumn o air behind them, but I'm not doing this to my nice leather door panels and I don't believe anyone else is.

It so happens that a friend of mine and fellow integrale owner works for Bosche which in turn owns Blaupunkt and he took the door pods into the the techy folk in Bluapunkt and got them to asses them for how good they are and they said that in pure audio terms they need the door to be cut but are well made and there is enough air behind them to make the speaker function well and it would take a real audio phile to notice the diff as it wouldn’t be perceived by a normal person.
