I have a seicento sporting 2001.
Unfortunately it failed its mot due to a Broken headlamp reflector and seized headlamp motors, the guy at the garage said I need new headlamp units and adjusters and quoted me almost £200.
So me being me I am trying to do this on the cheap and have been looking for new headlamps on ebay, I was just wondering what is the difference between a sporting and a non sporting headlamp.

yes the sei sporting and non sporting are the same.

but you can dismantle & refurb the lights may need a hair dryer to ease them apart bodge the pivots set them spot on manually and hope the tester does not try the dash controls most don't.

so don't throw the old ones away.

Fitting is easy -- actually aligning them is a bit more difficult.

There's a post by J333EVO which details fixing Cinq ones (which are very similar).

£200 is a lot of money. When buying s/h ones, check that the bulb holder does not just waggle about and that there are no small peices of broken plastic in the unit.

Always worthwhile trying the Polish suppliers, see if they have any RHD ones.
