I assume this is a cinq?
If so, the fuse is in the fuse box, bottom right, number 3, should be white, 25A, with a little fan symbol next to it.

wil make sure the fan spins up first.. but whether it does or not, there isnt a current getting to it ..
to be pedantic, test the
voltage first, not the
current. If the fan is faulty (open circuit or high resistance) then you'll never get a current flowing, even if there is a voltage (ie. even if the rest of the circuit is ok).
And there won't be a current flowing until the radiator fan switch turns on
- take the plug off the radiator fan switch (on the side of the radiator)
- on the plug (the dangly bit, not the bit fitted to the radiator), measure the voltage on each of the (2) connectors in turn (using the engine block or bodywork as an earth (-ve) connection for your voltmeter)
- if the fuse/circuit is ok then one of the connectors will show 12V (and the other nothing because it's connected to the fan motor)
- you shouldn't need the ignition on for this - the fan circuit is always connected so the engine is cooled even once it's been turned off.
If there's 12V at the radiator fan switch, then try a similar test at the fan motor connector.
