hello all, I am going to be ordering one of these off ebay to replace my split and scuffed existing bumper
Are there any tips on painting it?
what I was going to do, was [if its grainy] sand it smooth, spray it with grey primer, brush paint on the yellow [rest of car doesnt warrant a high quality finish]. I want to keep the original grey/black plastic where the grill is, although I think this might need painting black as the sun might fade the plastic
In the past when I used to race on the ovals, I used to brush paint plastic bumpers like this, never used any special primers, in fact didnt even sand them, and the finish was good and lasted [unless it got tyre burns on it]
what do people think
