how hard is it to remove and refit the front bumper on a cinq?

any tips?

Easy about 20 mins 2 x 10mm bolts behind front grill next to headlights and 2 x 13mm on the wing stays under the plastic arch liners

am I best taking arch liners out?

You may be able to get, have a look up from underneath.

When I took mine off I put some lock on and loosened the front of the arch liners, so I didn't have to (fully) refit them afterwards.

PlusGas on the fasteners under the arch liners -- they're prone to snapping.

If this is the first time taking it ... just snap them and renew them! fluffy sells them.

The one that bolts onto the from slam panel snap then yes is a drill and tap job, don't usually causes any problem, is the two hidden under the aches ... they are usually shagged. If they snap you are lucky, if the square plate bolt spins in the bumpe, then is a right pain to remove.

long extension bar and plus gas and they usually come out easy without taking arch out.. just undo the front of it and pull back a little. I never snapped one yet *touch wood

I plan on replacing the bumper with a new one, so the bolts underneath arent a problem if they snap etc, but of the square things spin I will probably just yank the bumper away from them

aye if replacing, then just undo the 2 bolts on the slam panel, then just yank it off lol!
