Technical need some info on fitting 1.2 16v engine in cinq
Mounts are all the same, gearbox will bolt on happy days.
It's probably not really spoken about much as the cinq's are SPI so more wiring is involved.
If your thinking of doing the swap then you will need the ECU, locks, , codebox, ignition barrel, and keys. (just a few things, there is probably more to be honest)
Arc is probably the best person to speak to as his 1.4 16v swap is in a cinq.

Why locks and igition barrarls
? Just tape the key from the punto next to the code box ?Ming
Couldn't you have the 16v ECU blanked so it learns the Cinqs keys? Might work if the ECU uses the old CODE system.
You can do that but it depends on the person, if your willing to post of your ECU to get it virgin'ed then go for it.

cut the punto loom at the bulkhead ditch everything from the d4 onwards in the cinq and connect the two. its quite straight forwars if you know your way round wiring diagrammes
theres loads of chat about this at the mo.
use the cinq mount and grind it out so the punto alternator and belt doesnt foul.
MAKE SURE YOU TAKE ENOUGH OFF AND FIT THE TIMING BELT COVER. MY BELT SHREDDED ON THE MOUNT AND TOOK THE TIMING BELT WITH IT BENDING 8 VALVES. 30 minutes after fist starting up

Fit the 1.1 oil pump, crank pulley and alternator and you don't need to grind the engine mount.
