Hi all,
My Sei is going for it's MOT soon and i need a little advise:

Firstly, My front registration plate is cracked, will this have to be replaced prior to testing or is it fine like it is?(It is still fully readable but the plastic has cracked)

Secondly, my headlights always seem very dim. Am I right in thinking this is kinda normal for Sei's? and should i replace bulbs etc?

Lastly, do you give any further advise to get the little fella through his test?

Plate should be ok, its normally the number plate light that is tested in the MOT, but would consider replacing with a new set at some point.

Bulbs normally go dim on any car when they are aged etc, maybe worth replacing prior to MOT

check usual things like tyres etc if its been running poorly then consider a service which would benefit the emissions side of things

Numberplates are part of the MOT test now, but providing your plate is legal and readable you will probably be ok.

It is the incorrect spacing and dodgy fonts they are after.

Thanks for the advise guys, will be booking it in sometime in the next two weeks and will get back with the outcome!
