hi there my cinq steering wheel is a little bit battered with age and i am wondering where to get a snazzy steering wheel cover cheap of getting a replacement steering wheel first of all will a seicento steering wheel fit straight on? with the airbag? also are they easy to swop round many thanks

The steering wheel is only held on by 1 nut :).

IF you willing to spend a bit of money u can get a boss for 40 quid, then a second hand momo, sparco, omp steering for another 40.

I recently got a second hand momo for 25 posted :D

jesus thanks mate only one nut so you dont have to remove the dash etc etc what about a seicento steering wheel will this go straight on as there is one on ebay going cheap and airbag look might look cool but will this pass the mot? sorry for all the questions thank you so much the reply

the standard size of the steering wheels is 350mm. So any cover with that size will fit.

The sei wheel fit, assuming the sei airbag is mechanical and there is no ecu controling it.

Really is your steering wheel actually that bad? and the sei air bag wheel is not good looking at all!!

Invest a bit of money and u won't be disappointed :D

you will find the rugby ball wheel was on the cinq first before the sei, look for really later models of cinqs breaking if you want that wheel as well as sei. You will also find that some of them were non airbag also

Just out of interest, can someone please clarify if the sei airbag was of the mechanical variety (ie, self contained with inertia switch trigger in the airbag unit) or ECU triggered? The Cinq unit (Where fitted) was a mechanical, which leads me to think the sei would be too, but could someone confirm please?

thank you very much everyone for all your help i think for the money i shall buy a sterring wheel cover and see what it looks like after many thnks agin a great forum!!!
