thanx for the replys firstly i must apologise i got the pullys mixed up its the toothed wheel that richcinq said . i should have went and looked at the engine instead of just going off what the person said. he said he kept the crank pully but he kept the pully where the alternator belt goes around. do you think it will be best just to get a wheel off a 1242 or just try the one i have on the car now.

thanx fingers im gathering info because when i start the transplant i have to get it all done and running in a weekend as i only have 1 car and wont be going to work if i bugger it up.or id have to put the old engine back in and i dont want to be doing that because its not verry well atm

yeah i noticed the said tiny nipple when i changed my timing belt as i had the bloody pully off and on more times than enuff tooth out 3 times :bang: belt kept jumping well that was my excuse any way and im sticking to it
