Hi
I have a 1994 0.9 Cinq
I was driving along on the motorway today, never had problems with the engine before. but i started to feel a sudden loss of power. The red light on the dash (top left) came on for a few seconds. I pulled up on hard shoulder, Water was fine as was the oil.

When i accelarate, a really loud noise is heard. in 5th gear i cant take it above 35,

Hmm ... i had similar problem ..

Could be the lock ring has broken in the gear which causes the tappet to come off.

Take the cam cover off and u'll see .

Is the noise there all the time?

Hi,

I'v had the spark plugs and air filter changed. a new 'clicking' noise has started. Car is barely picking up speed. Any ideas what it could be?

Its only there when i accelarate
