A few months ago the distribution belt of my Multipla is replaced. From that moment onwards the injector lamp turns on when the engine is cold, there is also loss of power. A check resulted in replacement of the lambda sensor, unfortunately this did not solve the problem.
My garage denies the relation between the replacement of the distribution belt and the injection issue. Can somebody explain why there is loss of power when the injector lamp turns on and whether there is any relation with the distribution belt?

It's possible. Also it makes no sense to change the lambda if the ECU light only comes on when the car is cold.

Change your garage, but, in the meantime, please don't post this in the Cinq/Sei section! It's quite busy enough here............

I presume the term 'distribution belt' is the belt between the crank and the cam(s). If so, then the belt being a tooth out will possibly cause the ecu light to come on.
