Hi guys I've replaced the crankshaft sensor, and guess what it still stalls whilst coming to a stop, so I'm now thinking about the coolant temp sensor. When I rang Fiat to order it i was asked if it was red or blue. Im guessing that it is the blue one as the lead that goes to it is blue, its the one at the back of the inlet manifold on the right hand side. Any help would be great, thanx guys.
p.s. also there is a small clear pipe that leads off from the back of the block that has been blanked off, when i remove that blank i can feel the air being sucked in with my finger, any ideas, I'll try to take pic of it tomorrow if it helps.

Take the plug off the coolant sensor, you'll then see the colour of the sensor itself. All the Cinq ones I've seen have been blue.

The pipe at the back is a vacuum pipe. Do you have an inducton kit on the car?

Nope there is no induction kit on it. Should I take the make shift stopper out of the clear pipe?

The temperature sensor is a WTS 05 or 09. At least they are on a lot of the Fiat cars and are blue. Can you confirm rallycinq?

You can get them a lot cheaper than fiat!!!!

Try a local factors giving them the part number, demon tweeks sell them i think. Also try http://www.mmcompsys.com/ as they sell them.

No, do not take the stopper out. It will upset your idle.

Thanks guys, just had that flu bug thats going around. Well I've had it changed, its just a case of suck it and see at the mo. Thanks for the help and info.

Well took it for a run today, and...... well it doesn't just dither and lose power and feel as if its gonna cut out any more. But it will still stall when pulling away in 1st, I got a m8 to drive it to, just to make sure it wasn't me. Starting to get very cheesed off, as its starting to cost a small fortune. So far its had a full service, a tdc sensor, the coolant temp sensor. The pipe going from the map sensor seems fine, so i really am starting to run out of ideas. When it stalled again I was just about ready to push it up onto the curb an leave it there with the keys still in it. My hair was brown when i bought her, but now its going grey, really fast. Any help or info would be great. Thanks again.
