Driving round today the car has got very hot. The water is boiling in the header tank took the cap off and released all the air and looked at the cap and seen that the hole is blocked is that why it is overheating ???? i no that it is not the headgasket

try a new cap. bout £3 from Halfords

thanx i will go and grab the cap will i need to bleed the water system or not

might as well. airlocks can cause problems. also check for leaks and that the fan comes on at the right time
