Hi all

Just some pics of the abarth, gonna get the 899-1242 conversion running again first as the head is off at the mo due to the spark plug hole threads being shagged got a head to go on it though .

You will see in the pics (in order) the skirt coming away, the cracked paint on the rear apron, the damage to the front bumper and the rust in the boot. You'll also notice that the bonnet has a big gap to the wing on the n/s. Think the wing is bent as it's been bumped.



Will keep you all updated as to how i'm getting on when I start work on it.

Also quick question - do you all think clean back the rust, anti rust it, prime it and fibreglass it, then underseal it from underneath the arch? OR cut the rust back and weld a plate in (might risk damage to the paint though)?

never thought of that one! any reason for not using fibreglass on the inside? then could chemicalmetal the underneath and underseal over it?

they look like 13's to me. they were the standard sized ones on the cinqs. in my sig, thats sat on 13's

yea they're 13s, need some 14s for the big brake conversion though so if anyone knows anyone breaking a car/selling a set of abarth 14s drop me a PM
