Hello to everyone, i have Fiat Bravo 2011 model with the basic engine 1.4 16V with 90 hp . I have found a T jet engine (used) 120 hp . Is it possible to remove my engine and replace it with the T jet . Also is it easy ?? Should i have to make other things like exhaust or anything else. I would appreciate any help thank you ! I have uploaded photos of the engine i want to buy . Thank you

I have found the engine in good price and the replacement will cost me a little because the mechanic is friend . I dont want other Bravo i love mine . I just want to make it quicker . :) please if someone knows is this possible ?
Just to replace the old engine 1.4 16v with the turbo T jet of the photo??

TGB thanks for your answer all these parts are necessary ?? I am talking about T jet 120 hp. So should i change my brakes for example? If yes how much you think will cost me these parts without the engine. Thanks

Yes I'm afraid so, electrics like ecu are needed to make the uprated engine actually run. Then transmission needs to be upgraded as your existing one won't be able to handle the power. Then uprate your breaks for the same reason, then exhaust etc so the new engine can work properly. And also, there will be a lot of labour costs too unless you do it yourself. Cheapest way to do it would be to buy a scraped/insurance write off t-jet and swop everything over. A lot of money and hard work, so as Mathew said earlier it would be cheaper/easier to sell up and buy a t-jet

I see thanks a lot for your answer TGB so i am looking forwrd for the new Bravo ??

You need --everything-- not only the engine.

Engine, gearbox, cv joints etc, mounts, ecu (BOTH engines and body computer), wire loom, new keys, pipes, intercooler, sensors, fuel pump, fuel lines, exhaust and many many more.

And of course you have to register the new engine and pass mot

So...is it possible? Yes.
But a straight cheap swap? Nope.

Don't forget exhaust will need up and down pipe for the turbo to. Honestly pal part ex yours for a t-jet I hinestly believe it will be both cheaper and much less time consuming. And yes breaks definitely need to be uprated. It's a big car and when it can get to 70+ mph in less than 10 seconds (believe me I have my 120 t-jet remapped and it can be that quick) you will definitely need the stopping power
