Age old question "air filter".where is it situated? and is there a preferred choice to actual filter overall?

Re: Air filters

Its located on the right hand side near the bottom, I would think you need the car on a ramp to get a good look at the air-filter.

Ramp would be ideal for this job.

Re: Air filters

You can do it without a ramp but still need a Jack and Axel stands as the car needs to be in the air. Very easy job but fiddly and time consuming!

Re: Air filters

K&N make a filter special for the Bravo original housing. I would get that any day of the week over the regular cone filter.

You can also change the filter by driving the car up on a sidewalk and positioning it in such a way that the right side is in the air.. it's the quickest method I've found. (a 10 cm drop would be enough)

Re: Air filters

I don't have it. I just thought i should mention it exists.
+ the original filter design guarantees a larger surface area than a cone filter.... I mean look at it it's huge.
