I thought this may have been the case but when I read through it says

"Line Output Converter, this adaptor can be used to provide a low level line output from a factory fitted head unit that doesn't have RCA outputs. It means you can run an amplifier from the existing original fitted radio"

You'll know when you'll plug an amp to them. if you have to set the amp to its lowest setting to be able to hear music without blowing up your speakers then that means they're just using normal speaker output from the HU.

Usually SPK to RCA converters are matchbox size boxes, I doubt they can make them into tiny plugs.

If im honest i wasnt too sure myself if it was correct i was only going by what it says. on the other hand thought I had something similar in my last car. from Halfords and it basically looks like a heat shrunk joint to convert standard cable to RCA but when I connected to an amp and my sub was fine. sound quality not the best but it worked. my second amp just wouldnt work connected like that and i was worried I may have the same problem with this one. although I will be getting new amps.

Im trying to get around cutting cables and without changing the head unit but still getting decent sound.
