Hi,

I recently have problems with my usb port in my Bravo.

I have an 8 Gb usb stick with about 1,6 gb music on it and it has worked fine for several months.

Because I was going on vacation, I've put more music onto my stick. From hereafter I have problems with my usb port.

It plays a song for about 20 seconds and then it makes a weird noise, stops playing and switches to the radio. After a minute it switches back to mediaplayer and same thing happens again.

I tried using another usb-stick (16gb) and this works. But the problem here is that it keeps playing the same 50 songs over and over again (and not all the other on the stick).

I also tried using a 1 gb stick, but I have the same problem as with the 8 gb.

I tried unplugging the battery, formatting al my usb sticks and put less then 2 gb on it, but nothing seems to work. The 16 gb stick doesn't even work nomore..

thx in advance for your help

try disconnecting your battery for 10mins and then reconnecting it

i have had this in the past

when you reconnect it make sure the usb isnt currently in when you reattach the battery and then plug it in n give it a few mins to scan the hole drive

its usually an issue with a single track that causes the resets, somthing to do with the way it reads the ID3 tags, I have a copy of cortez the killer that the car just refuses to play, every other track on my 32gb stick works fine, when you insert a new stick it has to rebuild your media library, but if its not reading a tag correctly it could be corrupting the library on the B&M unit, you would need to try and work out exactly which track its rebooting with

thx for the tip cainy1989.
It's gonna take couple of hours, but I'm gonna go for it

I adapted the ID3 tags and it seems to be working fine at the moment!

Before going on vacation I downloaded a lot of top 40 charts and the songs were all named like "1. kavinsky & nightfox - nightcall".

I removed all the 1.'s and 2.'s using a program http://www.mp3tag.de/en/download.html

thx a lot!
